UEFA/Europa League: Kipsta (Decathlon) succeeds Molten as ball supplier (2024-2027)

Kipsta, the Decathlon group's sports equipment brand, has become the official ball supplier for the Europa League and Europa Conference League as part of a three-season licensing agreement (2024-2027), announced UEFA, organiser of the two competitions, on 10/11/2023.

Kipsta, which succeeds the Japanese brand Molten, which has been involved since 2018-19 and until 2023-24, is thus strengthening its position as a football equipment supplier. The brand owned by international retailer Decathlon supplies the balls for the Ligue 1 Uber Eats as well as the Ligue 2 BKT as part of a contract with the LFP covering the 2022-2027 cycle. The balls used in Belgian Pro League competitions (Jupiler Pro League, 1B Pro League, Croky Cup and Supercup) are also supplied by Kipsta for the 2023-2028 cycle. The company based in Tourcoing (Nord, FRA) is also the kit supplier for clubs (Nîmes Olympiques, KV Ostende) and players' footwear, with four Ligue 1 Uber Eats footballers under contract in 2023-24.
