MotoGP: Sky Deutschland acquires broadcasting rights for the DACH zone from 2024

The pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland has acquired the rights to broadcast the entire MotoGP World Championship in the DACH region as part of a "long-term" partnership from 2024, announced Dorna Sports, the circuit's organising company, on 09/11/2023.

"Sky Deutschland will broadcast all MotoGP Grand Prix races and Tissot Sprints, as well as qualifying and practice sessions. Sky Sport will also offer live coverage of all Moto2 and Moto3 races, as well as all FIM Enel MotoE World Championship races. Sky Sport will also offer several freely selectable channels for MotoGP, including onboard cameras, data channels and a channel from a helicopter perspective," explained the company.

The free-to-air commercial network ServusTV holds the rights to broadcast the MotoGP Championship in the DACH region until the end of the 2023 season. The group extended these rights in Austria until 2026, on 20/08/2023. The Swiss public television group SRG SSR also holds the media rights for Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (SRF, German language) to MotoGP in Switzerland until 2026.
