CSR: LFP nominated for an ESSMA Award for its "sustainability in club licensing"

The Ligue de Football Professionnel has been nominated for the ESSMA Stadium Industry Awards 2023 in the "Sustainability Initiative of the year" category for its "sustainability in club licensing", 10% of which has been awarded on the basis of environmental criteria since the 2023-24 season, announced the French body on 10/11/2023.

The winner of the prize awarded by the European Stadium and Safety Management Association, of which the LFP is a member, will be announced at the ESSMA Summit 2024 organised at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam (NED) on 23 and 24/01/2024. The LFP is also among the other sports organisations in the running, for its goal of carbon neutrality by 2030. The other nominees: Liverpool FC (Premier League), VfL Wolfsburg (Bundesliga), FC Porto and SL Benfica (Liga Portugal Betclic).
