IOC/Paris 2024: 117 "Team Visa" athletes trained by the brand to promote themselves

Visa, the American group specialised in payment solutions, has activated its Top partnership with the International Olympic Committee and, in the run-up to the Paris 2024 Games, has presented "Team Visa", comprising 117 Olympic and Paralympic athletes from "more than 60 countries/territories and 40 sports," announced the IOC on 08/11/2023.

The American group brought the 'Team Visa' athletes together in Paris (FRA) at a dedicated event, the "Team Visa Summit", which consisted of two days of workshops and masterclasses focusing on brand understanding, with the aim of helping these athletes to become content creators that would be able to monetise their own audiences. The aim is to enable athletes to promote their own "personal brand" and exploits through storytelling tailored to the platforms they use.
