Valencia CF: a turnover of €121m (+10%) & a pre-tax loss of €1.2m in 2022-23

Valencia CF (LALIGA EA Sports) posted a turnover of €121m at the end of the 2022-23 financial year (from 01/07/2022 to 30/06/2023), up 10% on the previous year (€109.7m), announced the club on 13/11/2023.

"This financial year reflects the club's efforts to increase revenue and reduce operating costs in order to improve its financial position. The aim is also to consolidate the financing of the new Mestalla stadium, a key project for VFC's positioning. Renovation is fundamental to generating additional revenue," explained the club.

The pre-tax loss amounted to €1.2m, compared with a negative result of €44m in 2021-22. This allowed the club to "virtually break even before tax for the first time since the 2018-19 financial year." Net debt also fell by 13% to €297m.

These 2022-23 results will be submitted to Valencia CF's general members' assembly, scheduled for 14/12/2023.
