Italy/FIGC: Prometeon (tyres) official partner of the national teams (2024-2026)

Prometeon, an Italian tyre manufacturer belonging to the Pirelli Group, has become an official partner of the Italian national teams for three seasons (2024-2026), announced the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio on 13/11/2023. The agreement covers all FIGC teams (men's, women's, youth, futsal, beach soccer and esports).

The group has the status of official partner, the fourth level in the Italian Federation's sponsorship hierarchy, alongside eight other brands. As part of the agreement, "the Prometeon logo will appear on the sponsors board in press conferences and on the advertising boards pitchside. Furthermore, Prometeon tyres will be used on the Azzurri coach used for travel," said the FIGC.

In Italy, Prometeon has also been the main shirt sponsor of Parma Calcio 1913 (Serie BKT) as part of a multi-year agreement since the 2022-23 season. Parent company Pirelli has signed up as the global partner of FC Inter Milan (Serie A TIM) for the 2021-2024 cycle, after having been the main shirt sponsor between 1995 and 2021 (€12m per season for the 2016-2021 cycle).
