Netflix Cup (PGA/Formula 1): $2m paid by brands for visibility during the tournament on 14/11/2023

Two million dollars (€1.87m) was the amount paid by brands to display their logos on the visibility media around the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA) for the live broadcast of the "Netflix Cup" tournament on the eponymous streaming platform on Tuesday 14/11/2023 (at 18:00 ET, midnight CET), according to the American business and financial news website Bloomberg on 06/11/2023. German telecommunications operator T-Mobile (Deutsche Telekom) and coffee machine manufacturer Nespresso were among the sponsors, as indicated by the platform on 01/11/2023.

Netflix broadcast its first live sporting event, the "Netflix Cup", a tournament involving several Formula 1 drivers and professional golfers from the PGA Tour, on Tuesday 14/11/2023. The Netflix Cup pitted four pairs including a Formula 1 driver and a PGA Tour professional against each other in an eight-hole tournament (see below). The two best teams qualified for the final hole and the inaugural event was won by Carlos Sainz and Justin Thomas on 14/11/2023.
