FC Bayern Munich: Andreas Jung (board member for marketing) to leave after 27 years at the club

Andreas Jung, board member for marketing at FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga), "will not be extending his contract, which expires next summer" according to the 2022-23 German champions, on 14/11/2023. "Jung will continue to perform his duties until 30/06/2024. A decision will be made in due course regarding the assumption of his responsibilities from 01/07/2024," said the club.

In his time with the club Andreas Jung has been responsible for numerous partnerships including those with major sponsors such as adidas, Audi, Allianz and Deutsche Telekom, which lead to establishing Bayern Munich as a top European football club in terms of marketing revenue. "During his time in charge of sponsorship, partner sales grew from around €13m in 1996 to around €246m in the 2022-23 season," explained Bayern.
