OL Reign - NJ/NY Gotham (1-2), the final of the 2023 NWSL season, drew an average of 817,000 viewers on US English-language network CBS in the USA on Saturday 11/11/2023, down 11% from the 2022 final, announced the US pay-TV bouquet CBS Sports (owned by US conglomerate Paramount Global) on 14/11/2023.

Portland Thorns FC - Kansas City Current (2-0), the 2022 season final, drew an average of 915,000 viewers on CBS on Saturday 29/10/2022, a 71% increase compared to the 2021 final (525,000 viewers). This is the best audience for an NWSL match since the championship was launched in 2013.

The American broadcasting group CBS holds the rights to broadcast the NWSL in the United States and Canada over the 2021-2023 cycle for an estimated total of $4.5m (€4.18m).
