Manchester City FC: a record turnover of €826.2m (+16.3%) & record net profit of €93.2m in 2022-23

Manchester City FC (Premier League) posted a turnover (excluding capital gains on player transfers) of £712.8m (€826.2m on 30/06/2023) for the 2022-23 financial year (from 01/07/2022 to 30/06/2023), up 16.3% on the 2021-22 financial year (£613m/€710.5m on 30/06/2022), according to the club's financial report, published on 15/11/2023. This is the most revenue ever generated by an English club, and the highest ever for the second year running.

Manchester City, which is owned by City Football Group, also posted an unprecedented net profit of £80.4m (€93.2m) in 2022-23, almost double the club's previous record, also set a year ago (£41.7m/€48.3m). This is the third consecutive season in which the club has posted a positive result.

"The club's three main income streams of commercial (£341.4m/€395.8m), broadcast (£299.41m/€347.1m) and matchday (£71.9m/€83.4m) all showed significant year-on-year growth, reflecting the club's continued commercial momentum of recent years, the outcome of the ongoing delivery of a multi-decade strategy," explained the 2022-23 English and European champions.
