Euro 2024: Human Rights Declaration presented by UEFA & the German Football Association (DFB)

Respecting and protecting human rights during Euro 2024 and creating a framework for the implementation of the corresponding processes are the commitments of the "Human Rights Declaration for Euro 2024" presented by UEFA and the German Football Association (DFB) at the Sport and Human Rights Conference organised by the German Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community in Berlin (GER) on 14/11/2023.

This document is the result of close collaboration and complementary approaches between UEFA, the DFB, the host country of Euro 2024 (Germany) and the 10 host cities (Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart), according to the organising bodies.

It also "includes the incorporation of suggestions and ideas from interest groups, stakeholders and human rights experts such as the Centre for Sport and Human Rights, the Sport and Rights Alliance, the Euro 2024 Stakeholder-Initiative and the German Institute for Human Rights," added the bodies.
