2026 World Cup: L'Équipe group to broadcast the 12 Africa zone qualifiers in France

The French sports media group L'Équipe has acquired the broadcasting rights in France for 12 matches from the African Zone qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup (the first 48-team event to be co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico), announced the group on 16/11/2023.

The matches will be broadcast "exclusively for L'Équipe subscribers" on the L'Équipe live platform (website and app). The matches will also be available free of charge on the FIFA+ OTT platform.

As announced by FIFA on 14/11/2023, FIFA+ has been broadcasting the entire African Zone qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup in "most territories" since the first matchday (on 15/11/2023). FIFA+ offers English-language match coverage in all territories, with the exception of the MENA zone, India, Portugal and certain countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
