Women's Champions League: sublicensing agreement between DAZN and the groups NRK & TV4 in Norway

Norwegian broadcasters NRK and TV2 have sublicensed the free-to-air rights to 15 2023-24 UEFA Women's Champions League matches from the OTT sports platform DAZN, they announced on 14/11/2023.

NRK and TV2 will share the matches of the Norwegian team SK Brann Kvinne, and will also broadcast two quarterfinals and the semi-finals. The final will be broadcast by NRK on Saturday 25/05/2024. "If SK Brann qualify for the knockout phase, their matches will be easily accessible to all interested parties in Norway," said the two groups.

DAZN acquired the global broadcasting rights (excluding the MENA zone and China) to the UEFA Women's Champions League for the 2021-2025 cycle on 30/06/2021, and entered into a partnership with YouTube (Google/Alphabet) to broadcast the competition free of charge across all the territories covered. On the basis of this agreement, fans were able to watch all 61 matches (from the group stage onwards) of the competition live and on-demand on DAZN and free of charge on DAZN's YouTube channel during the first two seasons (2021-2023).
