Social Football Summit: nine startups competing to win the "Extra Time Challenge" on 21/11/2023

Nine start-ups (from Italy, Switzerland and Spain) from the football industry have been selected to take part in the "Extra Time Challenge" organised at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome (Italy) on Tuesday 21/11/2023 (from 14:30 CET). During this competition, each of them will have five minutes to present their innovation project for the sector.

The event will take place as part of the sixth Social Football Summit, the football industry's benchmark international event for business, innovation, marketing and communication, which is being held at the home of AS Roma (Serie A TIM) on Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22/11/2023.

"Among the proposed solutions:
• portable and wearable devices for athletes and coaches, which transmit data in real time to a cloud platform with the use of artificial intelligence;
• gaming applications for the esports world;
• analysis of the turf of sports fields with the adoption of sensors and AI-based software to create safer fields, reducing maintenance costs;
• sportswear to prevent injuries and innovative solutions for broadcasting live sporting events with cameras…
