USA/Formula 1: 1.3 million viewers on ESPN for the first ever Las Vegas Grand Prix

The Formula 1 Las Vegas (USA) Grand Prix, the 21^st of the 2023 season (following the cancellation of the Chinese and Emilia Romagna Grands Prix), drew an average of 1.3 million viewers, with a peak of 1.5 million on ESPN (The Walt Disney Company) channels in the United States on Saturday 18/11/2023 (race start at 10:00 local time, 07:00 CET on Sunday), announced the American group on 21/11/2023.

This was the first edition of this Grand Prix. "The inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix ranks as the second most-viewed F1 race on ESPN+ on record, behind only this season’s Miami Grand Prix," said ESPN.

"With one race remaining (Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, UAE, 26/11/2023), the 2023 F1 season remains on track to be the F1's second most-viewed season ever on US television, averaging 1.12 million viewers. Last year's record-setting season, which included the inaugural Miami Grand Prix that averaged a record 2.6 million viewers, averaged 1.21 million viewers," added the group.
