FIFA: Qatar Airways (airline) extends as a top level partner until 2030

Qatar Airways, a Qatari airline, has extended as a "FIFA Partner", the highest level of partnership in the International Federation's sponsorship hierarchy, until 2030, announced the body on 22/11/2023.

The extension of this partnership comes a year after the 2022 World Cup began in Qatar (from 20/11 to 18/12/2022). The agreement covers all men's, women's and youth tournaments organised by the International Federation and played until 2030, including the 2026 World Cup (in the United States, Canada and Mexico) and 2030, as well as the Women's World Cup 2025 (in England from 22/08 to 27/09/2025).

As part of this renewed agreement, Qatar Airways, which has been involved with FIFA since 2017, benefits from the status of "official airline" and will be visible "both at tournaments and through various digital platforms. Fans will soon have access to exclusive travel packages including match tickets, flights, and accommodation for select FIFA tournaments through a dedicated Qatar Airways platform," explained the body.
