Tennis: Canal+ acquires TV rights to the WTA Tour in the Czech Republic & Slovakia (2024-2028)

Canal+ has acquired the exclusive rights to broadcast the Horlogic WTA Tour in the Czech Republic and Slovakia for the 2024-2028 cycle, announced the pay and free TV group on 22/11/2023.

"From January 2024, and for five seasons through 2028, Canal+ will offer WTA tournaments in each season from January to November, including the WTA 1000s, the WTA 500s, various WTA 250s and the WTA Finals to its Canal+ subscribers via satellite or OTT offers, including the group's streaming offer launched at the end of April 2023," said the group.

Until the end of 2023, the media rights to the WTA circuit are held by telecommunications operator O2 in the Czech Republic and the RTVS broadcasting group in Slovakia.
