Serie A TIM: post-2024 TV rights allocated in 7 European countries + Israel with an increase of 38%

"The clubs have decided to sell the international audiovisual rights to the Serie A TIM, the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa and the Supercup EA Sports in certain European countries (Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Albania, Kosovo, Israel and the Netherlands). The list of assignees will be announced at a later date, once the necessary contractual formalities have been completed," announced Lega Serie A on 20/11/2023.

These rights cover the 2024-2029 cycle for the Serie A TIM and the 2024-2027 or 2024-2029 cycles for the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa italiana. "We are very satisfied because we have obtained a significant increase in value in these territories, i.e. more than 38% compared to the average annual values of the last three years," explained Luigi De Siervo, CEO of Lega Serie A.

While the international media rights to the Serie A TIM for the 2021-2024 cycle were awarded to Swiss media and marketing rights agency Infront for €139m per year (excluding the USA and MENA), the Italian League has decided to market them directly to broadcasters for the next cycle. This new…
