FIFA: "Helping member associations build a stronger relationship with communities" (E. Mammadov)

"We want to discover new and innovative ways to connect, to cooperate with the fans of the member associations, and try to facilitate them to build a longer term and stronger relationship with football communities in their countries," said Elkhan Mammadov, director member associations Europe at FIFA, to News Tank Football on 07/11/2023.

The Azerbaijani was in Paris on 07/11/2023 as part of a workshop organised by FIFA, which brought together 53 marketing directors from UEFA member associations. One of the highlights of the day was a presentation by Jordan Kolosey, vice president of business strategy, innovation and data operations at the San Antonio Spurs (NBA), of the American franchise's model for welcoming fans at the Frost Bank Center (San Antonio, Texas).
