Bundesliga: Coupang (e-commerce, KOR) acquires media rights in South Korea from 2024-25

Coupang, a South Korean e-commerce company, has acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights in South Korea to the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga under a multi-year agreement from the 2024-25 season, announced Bundesliga International on 27/11/2023. The agreement also includes the rights to broadcast the DFL-Supercup and the relegation play-offs.

"The two parties will also work together on a series of additional projects to promote the development of football in Korea, including marketing activations and knowledge sharing on topics such as technological advancement. Furthermore, Bundesliga sides will be invited to compete in the Coupang Play Series, an elite pre-season event that takes place in Korea," explained the DFL subsidiary responsible for the commercial rights (audiovisual, sponsorship, marketing, digital) of Germany's top two divisions internationally.
