ACF Fiorentina: revenues of €159.6m (-31.5%) & a net loss of €19.5m in 2022-23

ACF Fiorentina (Serie A TIM) posted revenues of €159.6m for the financial year 2022-23 (01/07/2022 to 30/06/2023), down 31.5% on the previous year (€233.2m). By contrast, turnover (excluding revenues from transfers) was up 33.2% to a record €147.9m in 2022-23, compared with €111.1m in 2021-22, announced the club on 21/11/2023.

While transfer revenues fell from €114.1m in 2021-22 to €7.7m in 2022-23, matchday revenues increased by 79.7% (from €7.9m to €14.2m), with the club receiving €19.7m from UEFA for its run to the final of the 2022-23 Europa Conference League.

"Total costs, before depreciation and amortization, rose to €118.7m from €105.9m the prior year, mainly because of an increase in staffing expenses, which grew to €86.7m from €80.9m, mostly due to the higher salaries in the men's first team, and greater service costs, which rose to €27.5m from €21.9m," explained the Italian club.

Furthermore, the club posted a net loss of €19.5m in 2023, compared with a net profit of €46.8m in 2021-22.
