IOC: executive board meeting in Paris from 29/11-12/01/2023, less than 8 months before the Games

"The International Olympic Committee (IOC) executive board (EB) will hold a meeting from Wednesday 29 to Friday 01/12/2023 in the host city of the next Olympic Games: Paris (FRA)," announced the IOC on 21/11/2023.

The IOC executive board, created in 1921, is made up of the IOC president, four vice presidents and 10 other members; all are elected by the Session, by secret ballot, by a majority of votes cast, for a four-year term (see composition below as on 29/11/2023).

"The IOC EB is scheduled to receive updates on the activities of the Olympic Movement, the IOC commissions and the IOC administration, together with reports from the organising committees for the upcoming editions of the Olympic Games," explained the global body based in Lausanne (SUI).

"During their time in Paris, the IOC executive board members will also meet with the Paris 2024 organising committee and visit a venue," added the International Olympic Committee.
