Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) has extended its collaboration agreement with Swiss organisation Team BDS for a third consecutive season in order to take part in the eLigue 1 Uber Eats 2024, the Ligue de Football Professionnel's official esports competition, and in "European competitions played on FC24 (EA Sports)," announced the French club on 29/11/2023.

The eLigue 1 Uber Eats 2024 will be launched "at the beginning of the year," according to Olympique de Marseille, who came second in the 2023 season. This will be the competition's third season as a professional league. In 2023, eLigue 1 brought together 13 Ligue 1 Uber Eats clubs with a dedicated esports structure and professional players under contract (compared with 10 in 2022). The competition, won for the second season running by FC Lorient, was broadcast in full and exclusively on Twitch.

The Marseille club launched its first esports section on 23/11/2020 in partnership with Grizi Esport, a company owned by French international Antoine Griezmann that was set up on 20/01/2020 and closed down on 11/10/2021.
