Kuehne+Nagel, a Swiss company specialised in transport and logistics, has become a global supplier to the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) until 2025, announced the world body on 29/11/2023.

As part of the partnership, Kuehne+Nagel will be responsible for deploying its shipping and logistics consultancy services for FIBA competitions over the next two years. "The objective of the agreement is also to build a long-term partnership," explained FIBA.

The Swiss group is also a partner of the international sailing competition SailGP and a logistics partner of the British and German Olympic Committees.

The agreement was negotiated by FIBA Marketing, an agency created by the collaboration between FIBA and Infront, which runs until 2033.

• five are based in China or Hong Kong (Tencent, Wanda, Ganten, TCL, Yili)

• two are in the Philippines (J9.com and Smart)

• Molten Corporation is based in Hiroshima, Japan

• Only Nike (USA) and Tissot (SUI) are not Asian brands
