Olympique de Marseille: "Restrictions on wage bill in line with the club's revised budget" (DNCG)

Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) has been subject to a "wage bill restriction in line with the revised budget presented by the club," according to the Ligue de Football Professionnel on 29/11/2023, in application of article 11 of the DNCG's regulations. The decision was taken by the Professional Clubs Control Committee as part of its review of the situation of clubs for the 2023-24 sporting season.

"Olympique de Marseille takes due note of the DNCG's decision. OM's directors have presented a budget that complies with the strictest management rules and is in line with the financial sustainability of the club advocated by the president of the board, Pablo Longoria," reacted the club.

"The financial regulator appreciated this presentation and unreservedly validated the club's forecasts, thus enabling the management team to calmly pursue the transformation of the club while respecting the budgetary framework.
