European Top 5: social media communities of the 96 clubs (December 2023)

• All the clubs in the European Top 5 have added 15.4 million new followers in the last month, taking their total to more than 2.5 billion on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X.
• Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) is the club with the most followers with 356.5 million, ahead of FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports, 318.1 million) and Manchester United FC (Premier League, 206.6 million).
• Liverpool FC (Premier League) was the club that experienced the best growth in its number of followers during the month of November, with 1.4 million new followers.
• In percentage terms, Sheffield United FC (Premier League) posted the best growth in its online community, with a 13% increase in its total number of followers.
• Nine clubs in the Top 5 have a total of more than 100 million followers, including four from the Premier League, two from LaLiga EA Sports, one from the Ligue 1 Uber Eats, one from the Bundesliga and one from the Serie A TIM.
