DFL: Franziska Fey extends as chair of the Foundation until 2026

The DFL Foundation (DFL Stiftung) has extended the contract of its chairperson Franziska Fey for a further three years, until 2026, announced the German Professional Football League on 01/12/2023.

"Franziska Fey, 38, has worked for the DFL Stiftung since 2015 and has held her current position since September 2020," said the Deutsche Fussball Liga.

"The DFL Foundation has been doing outstanding work for many years and its projects provide valuable impetus to further promote the social commitment of professional football. With her professional expertise, empathy and leadership qualities, Franziska Fey has played a key role in this. We are all united in our desire to contribute to a positive future for children and young people - and we are delighted that she and her team will continue the great work of recent years," said Marc Lenz, co-CEO of the DFL and member of the Foundation's board.
