Premier League: two new matchdays dedicated to the support & inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community

"The Premier League and its clubs will celebrate Stonewall's Rainbow Laces campaign at all fixtures between 02 and 07/12/2023, demonstrating their ongoing support for LGBTQ+ inclusion," announced the league on 02/12/2023. Matchdays 14 (02 to 04) and 15 (05 to 07/12) of the English league are concerned by this initiative.

"During the campaign window:
• rainbow armbands will be worn by captains across all 20 games, with Rainbow Laces branding also widely visible within stadiums throughout the period;
• A range of content will be published featuring men's and women's players and LGBTQ+ supporters' groups, as well as showcasing community projects that promote diversity."

"The League continues to work with clubs to promote the reporting mechanisms that are in place for incidents of discrimination, within stadia and online.
