Liga Portugal Betclic: Fite (OTT) broadcaster in several territories for the 2023-2026 cycle

The American streaming platform Fite has acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights in several international territories to the Liga Portugal Betclic for the 2023-2026 cycle, announced the sports & entertainment platform on 30/11/2023.

The territories concerned are the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The agreement, negotiated by the marketing agency SPORTFIVE, began with the broadcast of Matchday 12 of the 2023-24 season, played from 01 to 04/12/2023. The Portuguese league had not been broadcast in these territories since the start of the 2023-24 season.

The pay-TV group Sport TV launched a call for tenders for the international broadcasting rights to the Liga Portugal Betclic over the 2023-2026 cycle on 06/02/2023. Sport TV is responsible for marketing the international broadcasting rights for the Portuguese top flight over this period.
