Champions League: Proximus & Telenet acquire pay-TV rights in Belgium (2024-2027)

The Belgian private broadcasting group Proximus TV (French-speaking) has extended its full broadcasting rights to the Champions League in Belgium in the French language for the 2024-2027 cycle, while the Belgian private broadcasting group Telenet has acquired them for the same period in Dutch, announced the two groups on 01/12/2023.

Telenet has also extended its full broadcasting rights for the Europa League and Europa Conference League in this territory for the 2024-2027 cycle. Proximus currently holds the exclusive full pay-TV broadcasting rights to the Champions League in Belgium for the 2021-2024 cycle.

The free-TV groups RTL Belgium (French-language) and VTM (Dutch-language, owned by Belgian press and media group DPG Media) renewed their free-to-air broadcasting rights in Belgium to the Champions League for the 2024-2027 cycle on 28/11/2023.
