Sevilla FC: 2021-22 & 2022-23 annual accounts rejected at the club's general meeting

• A rejection of the 2022-23 annual accounts with 53.3% votes against and 42.1% votes in favour;
• A rejection of the board of directors' management report (57% against, 41.2% in favour);
• A rejection of the statement of non-financial information (53.2%);
• A rejection of the distribution of profit (52.9% against, 45.7% in favour);
• A rejection of all the above points concerning the 2021-22 financial year, following an initial rejection in 2022.

These are the main decisions taken by the shareholders of Sevilla FC (LALIGA EA Sports) at the club's annual general meeting to close the 2022-23 financial year (from 01/07/2022 to 30/06/2023), announced the Spanish club during the meeting on 04/12/2023.

These rejections are explained by the support of the majority of shareholders for former president José María del Nido Benavente (from 2002 to 2013), who resigned after being sentenced to seven years in prison in a corruption case, and who would now like to return as president of the club.
