Liverpool FC: 2,000 food hampers & 700 dinners to be given to local fans at Christmas

Liverpool FC (Premier League), via the LFC Foundation and its Red Neighbours community programme, will be offering 700 dinners to local supporters at its Anfield stadium (Liverpool, ENG) and distributing 2,000 food hampers (which represent four days' worth of food for families of four) to fans in the region during Christmas week, announced the club on 01/12/2023.

These initiatives are part of the Merseysdie club's third "Operation Christmas Magic" campaign. The charity campaign also includes:
• The "Winter Wonderland" event dedicated to families and sports, at Norris Green Park in Liverpool on 09/12/2023;
• Supporting the local food bank by organising food collections on matchdays at Anfield until the end of December 2023;
• The donation of gifts amounting to £15,000 (€17,500) to local radio station Radio City's charity programme.

The club will also be putting out an appeal for donations, both financial and material, on social media.
