Bundesliga: Borussia Dortmund awarded for its anti-Semitism policy

Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) was awarded for its "extraordinary contributions to the fight against anti-Semitism in sport" at an annual meeting of European mayors (dubbed the "Summit against anti-Semitism" on this occasion) on 30/11/2023, announced the German club on 02/12/2023.

"Through its work, Borussia Dortmund has managed to involve the fan community, all the loyal spectators, in the club's efforts against anti-Semitism. BVB does far more than just send good messages. It involves people in its work against anti-Semitism and achieves a real effect in the process," said Lord John Mann, anti-Semitism commissioner for the UK, at the awards ceremony at the "Phoenix des Lumières" art centre in Dortmund (GER).

"This award is an appreciative recognition of our intensive work and makes us proud. We carry out this work with full conviction.
