Spain: the Museum of Real Madrid would have attracted a million visitors in 2014 (+ 11%)

The Museum of Real Madrid CF (Liga BBVA) has attracted one million visitors in 2014, according to the Spanish daily Marca on 03/01/2015.

In 2013, the Museum of Real Madrid drew 900,000 visitors, making it the second most popular club museum in Europe, after the museum of FC Barcelona (1.51 million visitors). Official attendance figures for the museum have not been provided by the club as of 06/01/2015.

  • The Museum of Real Madrid is part of the "Tour Bernabéu," a combined ticket that allows visitors to also visit the Santiago Bernabeu stadium (capacity 85,000).
  • The Museum of Real Madrid was expanded in June 2014, increasing the surface area to over 1000m2.
    • During this expansion, the club has decided to increase the interactivity and enriched content offered to visitors.
