TSG Hoffenheim: revenues of €178m (+52%) and a balanced operating result in 2022-23

TSG 1899 Hoffenheim (Bundesliga) posted revenues of €178m for the financial year 2022-23 (01/07/2022 to 30/06/2023), up 52.2% on the previous year (€116.9m), announced the club on 07/12/2023.

Furthermore, "TSG presents an almost balanced operating result, a clear improvement after the two previous seasons impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, during which the club recorded an operating deficit of €24m and €42m," said the German club. 2022-23 Financial detailed statement of TSG Hoffenheim has not yet been published, as of 11/12/2023.

“The fact that there were no longer access restrictions to the stadium last season was a blessing but matchday revenues have, unfortunately, not yet returned to their pre-coronavirus levels. Sponsorship revenues were slightly increased, as have those linked to TV rights, which improves our turnover. But the increase of our incomes is mainly linked to the club's revenues on the transfer market," added Denni Strich, managing director of TSG Hoffenheim.
