DAZN: a free version of the app offering several live competitions to be launched in Germany

DAZN is to launch a free version of its app that will offer "a selection of the best matches" live and on-demand in Germany, announced the OTT sports platform on 08/12/2023.

The platform will notably offer:
• a “selection” of Serie A TIM, LALIGA EA Sports, Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Roshn Saudi League matches;
• UEFA Champions League highlights immediately after the matches;
• the broadcast of women's football matches, including the Women's Champions League and the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga, as well as the DAZN Rise channel (dedicated to women's sport);
• sports documentaries.

"All that is required is a DAZN account, but there is no need for an additional paid subscription. Registered DAZN users can simply log into the DAZN app on their device of choice and see the standard DAZN user interface, where free content will be tagged and available," said the platform.
