"FIFA and UNODC (the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime’s) can be proud of their collaboration. FIFA remains firmly committed to ensuring the integrity of football," said Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA, on 11/12/2023, during the 10th session of the "Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption", a week-long eent held in Atlanta (Georgia, USA).

"FIFA and the UNODC (the UN's highest anti-corruption agency) have been working closely on combatting corruption since they signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at UNODC headquarters in Vienna (Austria) to intensify their cooperation to address threats posed by crime to sport on 14/09/2020" said the International Federation.

"This collaboration led to the Global Integrity Programme, unveiled in March 2021 (document available to download), which provided all 211 of FIFA’s Member Associations with the knowledge and tools to prevent and combat match manipulation via a series of online workshops," added the body.
