Tennis: "The Netflix Slam", the second sporting event to be broadcast live on Netflix on 03/03/2024

Netflix will broadcast "The Netflix Slam", its second live sporting event, which will consist of an exhibition tennis match between Spanish players Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz on Sunday 03/03/2024, announced the streaming platform on 11/12/2023.

The event will be held at the Michelob Ultra Arena (12,000 capacity) near the Mandala Bay Hotel in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA). "Additional players and matchups will be announced at a later date. The event will stream live as a dual broadcast for English and Spanish audiences," said the platform.

This will be the second live sporting event to be broadcast by the platform after the Netflix Cup on 14/11/2023. This golf tournament, involving several Formula 1 drivers and professional golfers from the PGA Tour, was organised ahead of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Las Vegas (USA), scheduled on 18/11/2023. The event brought together a number of athletes featured in the documentary series "Drive to Survive" (about the Formula 1 World Championship) and "Full Swing" (about the PGA Tour), available exclusively on Netflix.
