Paris SG: launch of a discussion thread on WhatsApp "to provide fans with greater proximity"

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) have launched a discussion thread on the instant messaging application WhatsApp (Meta) on 11/12/2023 "to provide fans with greater proximity," announced the club on 13/12/2023.

"On WhatsApp, Paris Saint-Germain is offering a brand new experience to all its supporters and football fans in general. They can discover exclusive, never-before-seen behind-the-scenes content from the club's new generation. This initiative also aims to meet the growing demand from Internet users, who will be able to get closer to their favourite team thanks to the sharing of exceptional images, such as pre-match warm-ups, video messages from their favourite players, match information and a number of other news updates in real time," said the Parisian club, which used this new communication channel on 13/12/2023 to give clues to its fans as part of a contest organised in Dortmund (GER), where the club was playing its final match in the 2023-24 Champions League group stage against Borussia Dortmund (1-1).
