RC Celta: a stable turnover of €69.9m and a net loss of €13.3m in 2022-23

RC Celta (LALIGA EA Sports) posted a turnover of €69.94m for the financial year 2022-23, almost stable compared to 2021-22 (€69.92m), according to the annual accounts published on the club's website on 12/12/2023.

TV rights revenue (€51.2m), which is virtually the same as in 2021-22, accounts for 73.2% of the Galician club's turnover. The wage bill is also stable at €45.69m, compared with €46.44m in 2021-22.

RC Celta's net loss, however, is down from €131.999 in 2021-22 to €13.3m in 2022-23. This is partly attributable to the club's more negative balance sheet on the transfer market.

In addition, the club's general assembly of shareholders has approved a provisional budget (excluding transfers) of €101m for the financial year 2023-24, the highest in RC Celta's history.
