Social media: 7,085 posts reported out of the 5.1 million analysed during the 2023 Women's World Cup

• 5.1 million posts and comments in 35 different languages analysed using artificial intelligence;
• 103,000 posts reported by AI and reviewed by human moderators;
• 7,085 comments verified as abusive and reported to social media platforms;
• 117,000 comments hidden;
• 5,800 unique accounts detected sending abusive content;
• 50% of abusive messages verified as homophobic, sexual and sexist comments.
