Everton FC (Premier League) will play the entire 2024-25 season at Goodison Park (39,221 capacity) before moving to the new stadium being built on the Bramley-Moore Dock site (Liverpool, ENG) from 2025-26, said the club on 15/12/2023.

Everton were originally due to move into their new 52,888-seat stadium at the end of 2024, in the middle of the 2024-25 season. The decision, taken by the Merseyside club's management in consultation with its Fan Advisory Board, is based on "numerous commercial, logistical, sporting and fan-related factors" and aims to offer "a fitting send-off" to the stadium Everton FC has occupied since 1892.

The decision was not taken because of a delay in delivery, as "construction of the 52,888-capacity stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock remains on schedule, with work set to be complete late next year." The cost of the project is estimated at £760m (€882m) according to British media.
