China: Nike replaces adidas as the equipment supplier of the federation for the 2015-2026 period

The American brand Nike has replaced the German brand adidas as the official equipment supplier of the CFA (Chinese Football Association) until 2026, the two parties announced on 06/01/2015.

The annual amount of the partnership is €13.5m. adidas had sponsored the Chinese Federation since 1981. China occupies the 96^th place in the FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association) rankings on 08/01/2015, tied with Latvia and to Mozambique.

• The Chinese national team is playing in the Asian Cup, the Asian Championship of Nations, in Australia from 09 to 31/01/2015.
• Nike is also the equipment supplier of Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
