"In France, there are always big players bidding for NBA media rights. The contract with beIN ends this season, and we're going to make a bid. Every competition needs opportunities to develop its ecosystem. We need to be able to provide that, so that the NBA ecosystem can develop and reach a wider audience," said Oleg Petrov, CEO of Fedcom Media, the company that owns the Skweek OTT platform and a subsidiary of the eponymous group specialised in the sale of raw materials (sulphur, fertilisers, grain), to several specialised media sources on 19/12/2023.

The pay-TV group beIN SPORTS France has held the NBA broadcasting rights in France since 2012 and until 2024. beIN paid an estimated €4.5m per season for these rights over the 2012-2016 cycle, then €7m per year over the 2016-2020 period, according to L'Équipe.

Fedcom Media notably holds the full broadcasting rights, in France and Monaco, to the Betclic Élite (2023-2030), the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the BKT EuroCup (2022-2026).
