Germany: Andreas Rettig to step down as COO of the League on 30/06/2015

The supervisory board of the DFL, the Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH corporation (German Professional Football League), has accepted the request of Andreas Rettig, the Chief Operative Officer of the company, to set the end of his contract to 30/06 instead of 31/12/2015, announced the League that manages the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga on 06/01/2015.

Andreas Rettig will officially resign from the post he has held since 01/01/2013 in March 2015, before the start of the evaluation process to award professional licenses for 1. and 2.Bundesliga clubs for the 2015-16 season, indicated the German league on 06/01/2015. Christian Seifert, chairman of the supervisory board of DFL and the CEO of the League, will serve as interim COO and oversee the process of evaluation and awarding professional club licenses for 2015-16.
