"We had various meetings with several departments regarding the selection of the new stadium project. There is a dedicated working group on the new stadium, and we are in permanent talks with them. The club has a roadmap to get an official sustainability certification for the new stadium, which strengthens our position on a number of matters," said Rafael Muela Pastor, general manager of the Real Betis Balompié (LALIGA EA Sports) Foundation, to News Tank Football, on 18/12/2023.

"We have several sources of funding. The most important and consolidated is the donation received from all the players and the high ranked employees. They all donate 1% of their salary to the Foundation. We also apply for different funding opportunities, like the European Commission's Erasmus+ programme, and try to pay attention to any opportunities for national, local or private funding.
