La Liga: FC Barcelona open an office in New York to develop its brand in the US

FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) has opened an office in New York (USA) to "be much more in touch with its North American market," the Catalan club announced on 22/12/2014. The club said that this decision was inspired by the positive impact of the opening of an office in Hong Kong in March 2014, which allow Barça to develop its brand in the Asian market.

"The United States being one of the club’s most important commercial, digital and media priorities," stated FC Barcelona on 22/12/2014. FC Bayern München (Bundesliga) has also opened offices in New York on 31/07/2014.
