LFP: "Ligue 1 Uber Eats Trophée des Académies" a series launched with Canal+ in sub-Saharan Africa

Canal+ will broadcast, via its subsidiary Canal+ Afrique and in collaboration with LFP Media, the reality series "Ligue 1 Uber Eats Trophée des Académies" (in French language) in sub-Saharan Africa from Tuesday 09/01/2024, announced the pay and free-TV group on 22/12/2023.

The series, broadcast on the Canal+ Sport 1 channel, comprises eight 40-minute episodes. It will "transport viewers into the daily lives of young footballers from four African academies: USS Kraké (Benin), Kadji Sports Academy (Cameroon), ASEC Mimosas (Ivory Coast) and AS Dakar Sacré-Cœur (Senegal)," explained the group.

The series will take place in two distinct phases:

• the first, entitled "En route vers le grand tournoi 'Ligue 1 Uber Eats Trophée des Académies'", will reveal an "immersion in each of the academies to get as close as possible to the training, coaching and selection of the players participating in the tournament;

• the second, "The big 'Ligue 1 Uber Eats Trophée des Académies' tournament", will present the final five-day tournament organised in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) with the four African…
