RFEF: €392.1m budget (+2.5%) approved for 2024

The extraordinary general assembly of the Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol, which met on 21/12/2023, approved (with 70 votes in favour, two against and one abstention) a provisional budget of €392.1m for the financial year 2024, an increase of 2.5% compared to 2023 (the results of which should be published in June 2024), announced the RFEF the same day.

50% of revenue divided between two categories: "the item with the largest volume is broadcasting rights, with a total of €117.7m (30% of the total). Sponsorships, for their part, account for €78.2m in income, which represents 20% of the total," added the body, which has included its national teams' participation in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and Euro 2024, held in Germany.

In terms of expenditure, the RFEF plans to spend €64.4m on its national teams and €10.8m on co-hosting the 2030 World Cup (with Portugal and Morocco). The Federation's wage bill remains stable at €22.7m.
