La chaine L'Équipe: a 1.6% audience share in 2023, a new record for the French free DTT channel

La chaine L'Équipe (free DTT) posted an average audience share of 1.6% in 2023, a new record for the French channel, according to data from the audience measurement institute Médiamétrie communicated by the channel on 01/01/2024.

The channel posted an audience share of 1.5% in 2022. It also achieved an audience share of 3.1% among men aged 25-49 in 2023, up 6% on the previous year. "97% of French people watched La chaine L'Équipe," added the channel.

La chaine L'Équipe achieved its best-ever monthly audience figures in June 2023, with an audience share of 2% among the general public (up 9% year-on-year) and an audience share of 3.6% among men aged 25-49 (up 15%).

A total of 38 million viewers watched the competitions broadcast on La chaine L'Équipe in June 2023. These competitions included the Le Mans 24 Hours (10 and 11/06/2023), the 2022-23 Nations League, the 2023 Volleyball Nations League, the Euro 2024 qualifiers and the final matchday of the 2022-23 Ligue 2 BKT season.
